About volunteering
There are about 10 different types of volunteer positions available and we will need more than one person for each, so feel free to apply to more than one position! Volunteer positions are described in detail in the application form.
Rock Camp for Girls Montreal welcomes individuals who identify as female, trans and gender non-conforming to apply for leadership positions at the camp. We welcome the support of male-identified allies, and expect male-identified allies who would like to volunteer to respect the importance of leadership by women. Non-leadership roles are open to any individuals regardless of gender identity, and we are committed to maintaining an atmosphere of diversity, inclusion, and respect for all individuals throughout the camp. We acknowledge that gender is an ongoing and important issue. Rock Camp for Girls Montreal is always open to further discussion surrounding this topic. Feel free to contact us with your pro-active input.
Stipends
We have set aside a modest amount of money to be given out to volunteers who may need financial support in order to participate in Rock Camp. We would like all folks interested in contributing to Rock Camp to have access to this opportunity, and to this end we offer sliding scale stipends that are offered upon financial need in order to defray some expenses and encourage participation.
